Shopify development

I build and improve Shopify storefronts that are fast, flexible, and practical for internal teams to manage. Work can cover custom themes and sections, Figma implementation, integrations, migrations, performance, bug fixes, and ongoing development. Every change is reviewed in a duplicate theme before release.

01 · Buyer fit

When is shopify development the right next step?

This service is a good fit when production risk or capacity is blocking a specific business outcome. The first engagement can stay contained before either side commits to a larger delivery lane.

Good fit

  • Brands needing Figma-to-Shopify development or custom theme functionality
  • Stores needing reliable app, API, or custom commerce integrations
  • Teams improving storefront speed, maintainability, and merchandising control
  • Businesses migrating from WordPress or WooCommerce to Shopify

Problems it resolves

  • Storefront changes are delayed by limited Shopify development capacity
  • Apps, custom logic, or integrations create fragile theme behavior
  • Store migrations risk broken URLs, tracking, content, or customer journeys
  • Slow templates and rigid sections make merchandising harder

02 · Detailed capabilities

What can I help you build, improve, or protect?

The final scope stays focused, but these capability groups make it clear what can be combined into a contained project, support block, or custom quote.

01

Storefront and theme development

Production-ready Shopify work that stays editable after handoff.

  • Custom Shopify theme development
  • Figma-to-Shopify implementation
  • Custom sections and Theme Editor controls
  • Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, metafields, and metaobjects
  • Product, collection, landing-page, cart, and account templates
02

Apps, APIs, and custom commerce

Integrations are planned around the full customer and operations journey.

  • Shopify app installation and theme integration
  • Custom API and webhook integrations
  • REVIEWS.io widgets and theme integration
  • CheckoutChamp implementation and integration
  • Funnelish funnel and Shopify integration
  • Custom storefront functionality
03

Migration, performance, and support

Launch and ongoing work protect discoverability, data, and day-to-day operations.

  • WordPress or WooCommerce-to-Shopify migration
  • Product, collection, customer, and content migration
  • Redirect and tracking preservation
  • Shopify speed optimization
  • Theme troubleshooting and bug fixes
  • Ongoing Shopify development support

03 · Platforms, tools & integrations

Specific tools, used inside a protected delivery process.

I implement and support work with these platforms where they fit the approved brief. Tool inclusion does not imply certification or a vendor partnership.

  • Shopify
  • Shopify Plus
  • Liquid
  • JavaScript
  • Theme Editor
  • Metafields
  • Metaobjects
  • Shopify APIs
  • Webhooks
  • REVIEWS.io
  • CheckoutChamp
  • Funnelish

04 · Risk control

How does protected delivery differ from a typical handoff?

The difference is not extra ceremony. It is making the work reviewable before a release can affect customers, tracking, content teams, or the client relationship.

05 · The process

Reviewable at every important step.

01

Map the constraint

We clarify the commercial goal, theme and plan limits, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and failure path.

02

Build off-production

I work in a duplicate theme or contained environment while keeping important content controls editable.

03

Review the real journey

We check mobile, merchandising, cart, integrations, analytics, and the relevant buying path, not only screenshots.

04

Release safely

I publish after approval with rollback protection, ownership clarity, and concise documentation.

Service FAQ

Questions buyers ask before starting.

What Shopify development work can you handle?

I handle custom themes and sections, Figma-to-Shopify builds, landing and product pages, Liquid and JavaScript functionality, app and API integrations, CheckoutChamp, Funnelish, REVIEWS.io, performance, troubleshooting, ongoing support, and WordPress or WooCommerce-to-Shopify migrations.

Can you work inside an existing Shopify theme?

Yes. I first review the theme architecture, apps, content controls, and known constraints. Changes are developed in a duplicate theme and shared through a working preview before release.

Can you migrate a WordPress or WooCommerce website to Shopify?

Yes. I can plan and implement the migration of products, collections, content, and agreed customer data while preserving important URLs, redirects, analytics paths, and launch checks.

Can you build custom Shopify functionality and integrations?

Yes. Scope can include Liquid, JavaScript, metafields, metaobjects, APIs, webhooks, app integrations, and custom storefront logic. Platform limits and third-party access are confirmed before the estimate.

How much does Shopify development cost?

Shopify bug fixes start at $75 for up to 3 hours, theme or section customizations at $250 for up to 10 hours, integration sprints from $500 for up to 20 hours, and focused complete stores from $1,500 for up to 60 hours. Larger integrations and migrations receive a scoped quote.

A low-risk first step

Bring one constraint. Leave with a contained first outcome.

Send the platform, business goal, what is currently stuck, and the date that matters. I’ll frame the smallest useful starting point and the checks required before release.
